kitchen spraying FAQS
What part of the kitchen do you spray?
We can spray kitchen cabinets and cabinet doors, draw fronts, end panels, pelmets, trims, kick plates. As well as unique items such as book shelves and wine racks.
Is it worth spray painting my kitchen?
Simply YES, we have estimated it could be up to 80% cheaper than replacing your whole kitchen whilst providing a new kitchen quality and feel.
Do you charge for collection and delivery?
We do not charge an extra cost for any collection or delivery of your kitchen.
How much does it cost to spray a kitchen?
Each kitchen varies in cost depending on size, condition and special requirements such as handle filling and replacing. A medium kitchen can range from £1800 - £3000. For a more specific cost to you please enquire for a free quote and site visit.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Chichester, West Sussex and cover a radius of roughly 60 miles including Hampshire, East and West Sussex and Surrey. Please enquire even if you are outside of these areas and we will be happy to accommodate.
What type of paint do you use?
We use specialist paints mixed to your specific requests. We use either Polyurethane, water or oil-based paints depending on the environment and situation. This allows us to get the high durability, perfect colour and flawless finish you require.
What level of finish does spraying give?
Our process is similar to that of a new kitchen which has been prepared and sprayed in a factory. Therefore, you could expect the same look and feel as a new or showroom kitchen.
What are the benefits of spraying rather than painting your kitchen cabinets?
The key benefits to spraying is that it provides a much better even coverage with a completely smooth finish which you wouldn’t be able to get with a brush or roller. It is also much faster and uses less paint.
How long is the process?
Our full kitchen process from the first visit, following acceptance of our quote, usually takes between 7-10 working days as a guideline. This can flex due to size, existing condition and any issues that may occur during spraying.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Please refer to our sugar coat customer promise.
How durable are the paints?
We use industry leading paints which are specifically designed for kitchens and furniture. These are intended to be used in high traffic areas of the home and are the same paints which are used by kitchen manufacturers.
What colours and sheens do you offer?
Our colour selection is almost endless. We also provide a colour match service where we can use a colour from a variety of brands. During this selection you can choose the sheen level you require whether it is gloss, satin or matt. The most popular is a 30% satin sheen level. During our kitchen visit we will provide you with samples to help make your decision.
What surfaces can be sprayed?
We are able to spray any type of kitchen cabinet including wooden, MDF and plastic veneer. Through our UPVC spraying equipment we can also spray any plastic items such as fridges and freezers to match.
